Key Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer you will handle:

Graphic Design and Layout

  1. Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality creative assets from start to finish.
  2. Develop visually compelling designs that align with client goals.
  3. Adapt and evolve supplementary materials that align with established brand guidelines.
  4. Manage projects from brainstorming and conceptualization to production and delivery.
  5. Ensure layouts are accurate, effective, engaging and optimized for print and digital formats.

Creative Writing and Content Development

  1. Craft engaging, on-brand copy for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials.
  2. Develop compelling, brand-aligned content that resonates with target audiences.

Digital Media and Social Media Design

  1. Create engaging digital media, including social media graphics, website visuals, and promotional materials.
  2. Leverage your understanding of social platforms to produce relevant and effective designs.
  3. Ensure designs are optimized for diverse platforms and devices.
  4. Develop user interface (UI) elements for websites and applications when required.

Email Marketing Campaigns

  1. Conceptualize, design, and execute engaging email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp.
  2. Collaborate with the team to align email content with overarching marketing strategies.
  3. Monitor performance metrics to recommend and implement improvements.

Team Collaboration

  1. Work closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Manager, and Web Developer to ensure seamless design implementation.
  2. Actively contribute to brainstorming and strategy sessions to elevate the quality of all projects.

Qualifications & Abilities

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in an in-house or agency design role.
  2. Degree or diploma in Design, Graphic Design, Marketing & Visual Communications or a related field is mandatory.
  3. Strong foundation in marketing principles.
  4. Proven ability to independently lead design processes from ideation to execution.
  5. Demonstrated ability to research and solve problems independently.
  6. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  7. Expert proficiency with digital marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
  8. Experience with Meta Business Manager and Google Adwords.
  9. Solid understanding of marketing principles and how design impacts business objectives.
  10. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  11. Strong project management and organizational skills.
  12. Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Even better if you have:

  1. WordPress familiarity.
  2. Comfortable with HTML and CSS.
  3. Experience with After Effects, Premier Pro and video editing software.
