Google Cloud Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilledGoogle Cloud Architectto lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud solutions onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, and cloud security best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of GCP services, cloud migration strategies, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implementsecure, scalable, and high-performancecloud architectures onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).

2. Develop and executecloud migrationstrategies for enterprise applications and data.

3. Provide technical leadership and guidance onGCP best practices, including networking, security, identity and access management, and cost optimization.

4. Collaborate withDevOps and engineering teamsto streamlineCI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC)practices.

5. Ensure compliance withindustry standards, security regulations, and organizational policies.

6. Conductcloud readiness assessmentsand recommend suitable GCP services and configurations.

7. Develop and maintaindocumentation, architectural diagrams, and technical guidelines.

8. Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and optimize performance, scalability, and resilience.

9. Stay updated withemerging GCP technologies and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ yearsof experience incloud architecture and engineering.

2. 3+ yearsof hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)services, includingCompute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and IAM.

3. Strong knowledge ofnetworking concepts, security frameworks, and cloud-native application design.

4. Experience withTerraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

5. Proficiency in scripting and automation usingPython, Bash, or PowerShell.

6. Familiarity withDevOps methodologies, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

7. Strong understanding ofcloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC 2, NIST, etc.).

8. Experience withhybrid and multi-cloud environments.

9. Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification(strongly preferred).

2. Experience indata engineering, AI/ML solutions, or cloud-native application development.

3. Familiarity withmulti-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure).

4. Hands-on experience withserverless computing and event-driven architectures.
