The Good Neighbour Project (GNP) is seeking community-focused and passionate individuals to join our Delivery Support Program as Delivery Volunteers. We are currently seeking delivery volunteers to specifically service our requesters getting deliveries from Flemingdon Park Community Food Bank.
The Good Neighbour Project (GNP), launched in March 2020, is a Canadian charity dedicated to providing on-the-ground support to connect isolated vulnerable people with resources and necessities. Created at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, GNP mobilized over 6000 volunteers in 25 cities to address an access gap between equity-seeking members of the community and essential items like food and medication. In addition to its volunteer delivery support program and seniors socialization initiative, GNP is currently developing other poverty relief initiatives.
The Good Neighbour Project (GNP) is seeking community-focused and passionate individuals to join our Delivery Support Program as Delivery Volunteers. Identifying a critical gap in access at the beginning of the pandemic, GNP originally began with a delivery support program to assist isolated and vulnerable folks in the community – this service is still needed today. Delivery Volunteers work directly with our vulnerable requesters by doing their groceries and delivering them, or picking up and delivering food bank hampers – allowing requesters to get access to food and essential supplies in a time-sensitive manner.
We are currently seeking delivery volunteers to specifically service our requesters getting deliveries from Flemingdon Park Community Food Bank. Volunteers must be comfortable committing to at least two deliveries per week from Flemingdon Park Community Food Bank.

Please apply only if you can commit to volunteering for at least 3 months; can continue longer if desired
Volunteer must commit to 1-2 deliveries a week or 5-10 a month.
