Golf Maintenance Labourer/Greenskeeper

We are looking for individuals to join our team. If you are eager to learn, enjoy being outside, and have no problem with early mornings, then this could be the job for you. The Rock Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course sculpted on the shores of Lake Rosseau. Utilizing the site’s dynamic topography, the 6649-yard course is carved tight with narrow treelined fairways and sloping greens that wind through rock outcroppings.

Responsibilities:

1. Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and roughs
2. Bunker maintenance - raking, repair and mowing
3. Topdressing fine turf surfaces and divot repair
4. Aerifying and other procedures that improve turf health
5. Projects such as sodding, drainage and other course improvements
6. Assist with tree and garden maintenance

Qualifications:

1. Must be punctual for early morning start times
2. Must be available to work weekends and holidays
3. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
4. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
5. Must work well in a team-oriented environment
6. Good communication and organizational skills
7. Attention to detail
8. Prior grounds maintenance experience an asset
9. Valid driver's license
10. Safety boots required
