Job Title: Golden Source Consultant
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 24 + Months

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Senior Golden Source/Ref data Developer for the Security Reference Data team to work on Strategic reference data platform improvements.
2. Enhance the GoldenSource Security Master product.
3. Assign work to offshore teams and track progress.
4. Attend meetings with the Business team to plan JIRAs for the monthly release.
5. Collaborate with clients to build new interfaces for sourcing data.
6. Meet with data support to add controls to improve data quality.

Must Have Skills:

1. Extensive experience in implementing GoldenSource v8.x in a financial institution to map source data to the GS data model.
2. Strong knowledge of GoldenSource Security Master v8.x Architecture and Data Model.
3. Proficient in GoldenSource Workflow, Connector, and UI development.
4. Experience working with Data Vendors like Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.
5. Understanding of Financial Instruments.

Nice to Have Skills:

1. Exposure to JMS, Hive, or any programming language.
2. Experience in GoldenSource product version upgrades.
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
