Do you have a strong interest in international trade and sustainability topics? Are you self-motivated and proactive in staying informed about new developments and regulations in the field? Are you looking for an opportunity to grow, develop and improve your skillset?
If so, Deloitte’s Global Trade Advisory team is looking for you!
As part of our team of dedicated trade compliance professionals, you will focus on ensuring companies comply with regulatory requirements in global trade. This encompasses three key pillars: 1. Customs process optimization and compliance, 2. sanctions, embargoes, and export controls, as well as 3. sustainability regulations. Your main focus will be on driving forward the sustainability pillar, which includes regulations such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the EU Regulation on Deforestation (EUDR), Forced Labor regulations, and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
You will also conduct research on legal topics, develop new service offerings in the field and be involved in marketing activities.
You will be joining a diverse, welcoming and international team of customs and trade compliance professionals, international trade lawyers and compliance officers. Each team member brings their unique strengths and character, and while you will primarily drive the sustainability pillar, you will also support other projects. You will have the opportunity to make a mark by pioneering new sustainability projects, build your profile on sustainability initiatives, and use your creativity to make an impact.
