Digital Project Manager - 12 month contract

We are looking for a Junior to Middle General QA Engineer who will work on a product for the Pharma industry in the USA and will perform manual as well as automation tasks. The expected proportion of manual/automation is 50%/50%. We are building a DWH + BI system to monitor the drug flow in the US. The team consists of domain experts, experienced DWH, BI engineers, Business Analyst, DevOps, and QA Engineer. The product development process has an agile flavour and is tracked using Jira. The product itself is running on AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of system requirements and producing testing specifications from systems requirements (Jira, Confluence). Functional testing of business intelligence software, including an ETL-based data warehouse and BI reporting application. Communication with the development team regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations.
• Design, creation, and analysis of test documentation (test plans, test cases, test specifications, user guides, checklists, bug reports) (XRay).
• Support test documentation.
• Automation of regression and functional testing (Robot Framework/Selenium).
• Test data preparations.

Technical skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a testing area. Knowledge of test types and methods of organizing them as part of the testing process.
• Strong understanding of development and testing processes.
• Comprehensive approach to testing (manual and automation).
• Basic Bash scripting skills.
• English spoken Upper-intermediate level or higher.

Must have at least one of:

• Experience in automated testing (Python) and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium).
• Experience in testing Web services, API testing, and understanding client-server architecture.
• Basic Database knowledge (PostgreSQL).

Nice to have:

• Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Big Data concepts.
