GDS SaT – TSE IT – IT DD – Senior Analyst – India

Within SaT, the team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle. Our professionals work on transactions and business development across the globe.

The opportunity

We are looking for Senior Analysts with expertise in pre-deal engagements, such as IT DDs, vendor assists and carve out blueprints. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm and develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring, and learning & development.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support IT DD team on various pre-deal projects involving performing due diligence on targets, one-off separation costs and standalone costs planning, TSA identification and planning, DD reports, IT benchmarking and working on the entire pre-deal cycle.

Skills And Attributes for Success

Must have

• Experience of working on IT DD projects and various deliverables related to DDs.
• Experience of working on DDs from various sectors and capable of creating insights on all DD towers within IT:
• Applications
• Infrastructure
• Cyber security
• IT organization
• IT assets and contracts
• IT spend (apex and opex)
• IT strategy and policies
• IT governance
• Worked on DD projects that required identifying the risks in investment and mitigation recommendations.
• Estimate one-off separation costs and standalone costs using various models.
• Experience of working on vendor assist and VDD projects, and creating reports.
• Familiar with IT cost benchmarks and how to use them in DD.
• Capable of drafting target operating models for IT on Day 1 and standalone, as well as planning for Day 1.
• Exhibited leadership in projects involving IT transformations.
• Develop financial models for IT, including synergy savings, one-time costs, and stranded costs.
• Assist meetings with senior client stakeholders to advise and drive strategy for IT value creation projects.
• Be flexible to support broader IT & Operational transaction work.
• Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement.
• Technical certifications like AWS Certified Solution Architect, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, or equivalent.
• Strong writing skills and experience in producing high quality reports.
• Experience of communicating with global clients and key stakeholders in IT.
• Contribute to business development activity.

Good to have

• Experience of working on M&A projects, including pre-deal and restructuring.
• Technical certifications such as AWS / Azure or other equivalent.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 4+ years of prior experience in IT Technology / Consulting organization or IT department.
• B Tech / M. Tech. / MBA / PGDM with B. Tech. from a reputed institute.
• Assist large IT project execution experience with in-depth knowledge of IT project life cycles.
