TRIO’s head office is in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with operations all throughout Canada, the USA, France, and Uruguay.

TRIO is looking for a Data Manager to join our Data Management team.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Data Management, this position will be remote based in Canada.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day to day operations of multiple clinical trials to ensure timelines and quality standards are met, under minimal supervision.
2. Synthesize protocol and protocol amendments and translate into a Case Report Form.
3. Perform database amendments based on the Case Report Form in Medidata Rave.
4. Attend and provide status updates during Sponsor / Internal meetings for multiple trials.
5. Manage the creation, revision and approval of the Validation Tools including formal testing, as required under minimum supervision.
6. Contribute to the writing and maintenance of trial-related documentation (DMP, TWI, DTP, DTS, UGD, etc.).
7. Consult with other departments as necessary to solve data or Validation Tool issues / needs.
8. File documents in, and maintain, Section F of the electronic Trial Master File.
9. Prioritize tasks in line with TRIO / Sponsor expectations and decisions across multiple trials.
10. Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines for trial-related activities.
11. Contribute to the development of new processes and standards.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a health-related field) or relevant experience in a health-related field.
2. Combinations of education and experience will be considered.
3. Excellent computer skills.
4. At least 3 years’ experience with Medidata Rave.
5. Ability to synthesize information and use intuition and experience to solve problems.
6. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present numeric data effectively.
8. Works well under pressure and can ensure smooth delivery of projects in a positive team environment.

Pay Range: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 - Salary to be influenced (or determined) by the education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
