Our client, a well-established player in the industrial sector, is seeking a General Manager to join their team in Atlantic Canada.

As the ideal candidate, you’ll bring strategic vision and hands-on leadership to the role, prioritizing safety, productivity, and team motivation.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring a safety-first culture among all staff.
2. Optimizing daily operations for efficiency and profitability.
3. Presenting financial results to division leadership.
4. Setting clear priorities for the operations team.
5. Developing talent through coaching and hiring decisions.
6. Maintaining high levels of employee engagement through effective communication and motivation.
7. Collaborating closely with customers to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery of products and services.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this role include:

1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (MBA considered a strong asset).
2. A minimum of five years of experience leading operations.
3. Commercial experience with large industrial customers.
4. A track record of improving processes to drive practical business outcomes.
5. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
6. The ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
