Job Title: General Manager

Reporting To: VP&GM, Ind. Slip Ring & Marine

Work Schedule: Onsite – Halifax, NS

Our Slip Ring and Marine (SRM) division is looking for a General Manager to be responsible for all related activities within the Halifax, NS site. You will report directly to the SRM division’s Group Vice President and General Manager and will be a key member of the SRM leadership team.

In this role, You Will:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve financial targets and operational excellence.
  • Develop and grow site talent, with a focus on effectiveness and results, to support long-term business needs and short-term flexibility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Oversee all site operations to ensure and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster the Moog culture and values and create a work environment that reflects and inspires the Moog philosophy.
  • Collaborate with other SRM businesses to identify synergies to drive the division’s success and overall growth.

What you Bring:

  • Proven track record of managing a P&L and driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, with the ability to engage the right organizational resources to quickly and effectively resolve complex customer requirements.
  • Proven competence in building trust, adaptability, and building partnerships across cultures.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capabilities in strategic and tactical leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least ten years of progressive business and leadership experience in an industrial field.
