We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be versatile and able to perform a variety of tasks in construction and maintenance settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. This role will assist in various projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties:
- Operate equipment safely and effectively as required for specific tasks.
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of drywall, and exterior sheathing.
- Assist with cleaning tasks, including installation and repairs.
- Engage in laying out of walls as per plans.
- Restore structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials.
- Utilize hand tools for various construction activities including cutting steel stud, installing drywall, and cleaning.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience:
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:
- Carpentry techniques and practices.
- Lifting equipment operation for construction purposes.
- Basic construction knowledge such as measuring and using hand tools.
- Familiarity with power tools used in construction projects.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Fall arrest and safe working at heights training.
