Gas Plant Operator

A major oil and gas company is looking for a Gas Plant Operator to join their busy facility near Whitecourt, AB. The successful candidate will be working in a modern NGL plant producing ethane, propane, and condensate. This position runs on an 8/6 rotation, working 10-hour days and nights. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating in a natural gas facility.

Skills Requirement:

1. 3rd class power engineering an asset
2. 2 - 5 years of gas plant operations experience
3. Experience with NGL's and hydrocarbons
4. Must be able to follow procedures, understand piping and process equipment
5. Preference would be given to applicants with strong processing facilities experience
6. Must be a self-starter who can work with little to no supervision
7. Valid safety tickets and a clean driving abstract
8. Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
