Full Time Teller (Poplar Holmes)

The teller will perform basic teller functions that consist of assisting customers, processing personal and commercial transactions, balancing credits and debits daily, ATM, Vault, Cash Items, and Branch balancing to the general ledger. Answering telephones is also part of the role. Must adhere to Bank policy and dual control. Tellers must be willing to cross-train and recognize opportunities to cross-sell products to customers. Must be willing to work a rotating shift of 7:15 am to 4:15 pm/9 am - 6 pm Monday thru Friday.

DUTIES

1. Processing deposits
2. Cashing checks
3. Balancing debits and credits
4. Cross-training and cross-selling
5. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Customer service skills / good telephone etiquette
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
4. Minimum 1 year of retail experience and cash handling
5. Previous teller experience a plus
