Job Description

Title: Full-Time Security Guard

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Shift: Day

Payrate: $16.65 per hour

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, & Thu

Special Note: This is a standing vacancy - Must be physically capable of standing for long periods and have previous experience in de-escalation.

Overview: Allied Universal is seeking a professional Full-Time Security Guard in Winnipeg, MB. As a security guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enforcing security protocols and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring effective patrolling and site safety.
• Communicating with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
• Addressing and managing security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Performing regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
• Demonstrating strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Exhibiting excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must have a valid Manitoba Security License.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for commuting.
• Eligibility to work in Canada for 40 hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
