Full-Time Bakery/Deli Clerk

Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Bakery/Deli Clerk in the Bakery/Deli Department at our Food Store in Boissevain, Manitoba.

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager, the Bakery/Deli Clerk is responsible for:

• Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Boissevain Food Store, Bakery/Deli Department;
• Demonstrating behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
• Product preparation, packaging, pricing and merchandising;
• Cleaning & maintenance of Bakery/Deli Department equipment and work stations;
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in the retail and:

• Possess a Grade 12 diploma or combination of relevant experience;
• Have experience in food store operations is desired but not essential;
• You are available to work weekend shifts;
• You are able to delegate tasks when given multiple tasks at once;
• You are action oriented, customer focused and work well with other team members;
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives;
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
