Full Stack Developer (Python, React)

Job Description: Our Client is looking for a Full Stack Developer for a contract in Halifax, NS. (Hybrid role)

Must Have Primary Skills:

1. 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in Python and React, including experience with popular libraries and frameworks (e.g., Django, Redux).
2. Solid understanding of RESTful API development and frontend design patterns.
3. Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
4. Experience in Agile development and working in cross-functional teams.
5. Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills:

1. Experience with Apache Airflow for building and managing complex data workflows.
2. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
4. Experience with Databricks is a plus.

Proven Experience In:

1. Developing RESTful APIs and services using Python frameworks (e.g., Django).
2. Implementing frontend components using React, ensuring a responsive and interactive UI.
3. Implementing test cases sufficient to demonstrate its completeness in an automated test harness.
4. Integrating Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
5. Ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices.
6. Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to improving development processes.
7. Reporting status, respecting deadlines, and maintaining quality.
