About the Role

Teranet is currently looking for a Contract Full Stack Developer position. You will design, develop, and implement software applications and enhance existing Java based billing and payment application.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Develop new application functionality
2. Provide enhancements to a billing application and a consumer facing application
3. Prepare and maintain technical documentation
4. Collaborate with other application and business teams to triage production issues and or understand new requirements

About You

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
2. 5 years of experience in Java / Angular development is required.
3. Experience with enhancing billing / payment applications, ecommerce sites, and or consumer facing applications.
4. Experience with Angular, Java, J2EE systems, JSP/Servlet, JavaScript, HTML and XML is required.
5. Hibernate, Spring Framework for web application development is required.
6. Experience with relational databases (including Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL) is required.
7. Ability to write clean, readable, reusable and easily maintainable code is required.
8. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
9. Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
10. Understand responsive design.
11. Knowledgeable of design patterns and data structures.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
13. Experience with DevOps
