Full Stack Software Developer

What We Need

CORPAY is currently looking to hire a Full Stack Software Developer. As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be working in an agile team environment, playing an integral part in driving our core international payment processing systems forward. You will help bring our forex and ecommerce software to the forefront of both technical innovation and the financial industry.

You are passionate about building new products, navigating business requirements, and turning them into technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include prototyping, designing, reviewing, maintaining, and unit testing code that you deliver to the production environment.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand and resolve any technical questions.
  • Break down tasks to meet deadlines and business goals.
  • Build and maintain robust and scalable code to support innovative features.
  • Follow best development practices (e.g. Agile, clean code, unit tests, continuous integration) and apply your experience to new and evolving environments.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Master, and QA.
  • Develop and maintain code for both front-end and back-end sides of the system.
  • Maintain a high standard of code quality.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a software engineering role.
  • Strong experience in .NET design and development focusing on line-of-business desktop and web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server and relational database design.
  • Experience in unit testing and test methodologies.
  • Experience working with external vendors and integrations is nice to have.
  • Experience consuming and creating HTTP-based web APIs.
  • Experience in the financial industry, payments, foreign exchange, fintech is a plus.
  • A product-oriented mindset with a desire to understand the core problem being solved.
  • Commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Driven to improve performance and scalability of our system.
  • Work constructively in a group as well as individually.
  • Experience in reducing ambiguity, scoping requirements, and estimating a given project and/or task.
  • Motivated to learn and keep up with new technologies and apply them appropriately.

Salary Information

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $100,000 - $140,000.
