Frontline Care Worker/Housekeeping

Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Salary Or Wage: $25.00 per hour

List of Requirements

• Valid first aid and CPR certification (re-certification covered by organization thereafter)
• WHMIS (preferred)
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• First Aid Certification (preferred)

List of Duties

• Ability to carry out housekeeping duties (primary job responsibility)
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work independently as well as in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate related equipment
• Ability to carry out the physical requirements and duties of the position
• Ability to maintain supportive and respectful relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients
• Ability to assist in other frontline operations such as food preparation, client support, medication dispensing, and driving

Currently, we are looking to add two casual employees to the Frontline Team.

The Frontline Team is the foundation department of Sunshine Coast Health Centre (SCHC) and Georgia Strait Women’s Clinic (GSWC), with many of the organization’s long-term staff starting in it. There are regular opportunities for training and advancement into different areas and positions within the organization.
