Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team in a dynamic health care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding patient experiences. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth front office operations while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage front desk staff and overall functioning of the office, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Handle insurance billing and questions.
  • Maintain and oversee the operation of phone systems, ensuring effective communication within the office.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for office operations to enhance efficiency.
  • Train and mentor front desk staff on best practices in customer service, phone etiquette, and dental standards.
  • Manage provider booking times and bookings with efficacy.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Basic bookkeeping.
  • Address guest complaints or issues with professionalism, striving for resolution that enhances patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proficiency with computer operating systems.
  • Dental background - asset but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
