Front of House Manager

$45k - $55k dependent on experience (Plus average $10 per hour tips)

We are searching for the following Front of House position:

Front of House Manager: Full time year round position available to start before summer. This is a comprehensive role that will include working stations as needed during service in addition to administrative tasks.

We are looking for the following qualities in our ideal candidates:

• A passion for providing genuine hospitality and dedication to delivering an exceptional service experience to our guests.
• Self motivated to develop your skills and industry knowledge.
• Highly organized and efficient, with great communication skills, and superior attention to detail.
• A cheerful disposition and strong work ethic.
• Must be over the age of 19 and have a Serving It Right certificate.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar position or 5 years working in restaurants.

Responsibilities of the position:

• A strong understanding of daily operations, can work multiple different stations including barista/bartending, serving, and support.
• Staff training and ensuring SOP's are followed.
• Ordering and inventory.
• Administrative tasks such as managing staff tips, writing schedules and ensuring labour targets are met, monitoring email inquiries and planning catering.
• Working with the Chef and GM for menu planning and development, daily food and beverage specials, and social media.
