Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Associate at Tru by Hilton Gananoque, you will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that each guest has a smooth, enjoyable, and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. Your role will involve interacting with guests, handling reservations, providing information, and ensuring that every detail of their stay exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming guests with a positive attitude, responding to inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Check-In & Check-Out: Accurately process guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
Reservations Management: Assist guests with reservations, including booking rooms and providing information about rates, availability, and hotel amenities.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between guests and hotel management, ensuring that guest concerns and requests are addressed promptly.
Hotel Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.
Administrative Duties: Handle front desk paperwork, including cash handling, guest folios, and billing.
Teamwork: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the front desk area is clean and well-organized, and adhere to hotel safety and security procedures.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry (front desk experience is a plus).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional guest service.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management software (experience with Hilton’s systems is an advantage).
A team-oriented mindset with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Bilingual (English and French) is an asset, but not required.
