Job Description:
Ensure positive guest experience through interaction & satisfaction and resolve guest issues within scope of authority
Perform check-in/check-out procedures in an efficient and timely manner
Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from customers
Keep an inventory of room reservations and room assignments
Regularly communicate with Duty Manager to ensure the overall success of the department
Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations
Ensure all cash is balanced and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift (at Front desk or in the Bar/Restaurant)
Assist other departments within Deer Lodge as required
Ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments effectively within Deer Lodge and the Lake Louise Ski Resort
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Flexibility with scheduled shifts
Excellent administration and clerical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills
Previous supervisory experience as an asset
Ability to balance the needs of staff, maintenance, tenants, and outside interests
Strong initiative with the ability to take responsibility for work unsupervised
A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment
A valid Alberta or International driver's license and a clean driving abstract are an asset
Work Schedule: 4 Days On / 3 Days Off
