Frito Lay Canada Production Operator

Overview

The Taber Production Operator will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by providing leadership in our manufacturing operations.

Compensation: $24.64 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery (varies from basic to complex).
• Conducting sanitation activities daily and supporting biweekly site sanitation.
• Maintaining professional conduct with colleagues.
• Being punctual and attending all scheduled shifts.
• Entry-level role with an opportunity to understand all areas of manufacturing.

Shift: 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off, 12hr (Must be available for day and night shifts).

Qualifications

• Excellent physical coordination and conditioning.
• Good speaking and writing skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and committed to following safety and food safety protocols.

Physical demands and working conditions:

• Must be able to lift/carry 45-60 lbs constantly for 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 80 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
• Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies required for your area.
