Frito Lay Canada Parts Technician

Pepsico is currently looking for a Parts Technician to join our Lethbridge team!

Compensation: $35.48 per hour

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and sort incoming parts and supplies.
• Inspect parts upon receipt, and catalog/generate parts numbers.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels and keep detailed inventory records.
• Place orders for parts to ensure adequate supply and minimize shortages.
• Enter parts information into applicable systems for tracking.
• Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain parts storage integrity.
• Take ownership of the organization, cleanliness, and storage of the parts area to enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure that back-ordered parts are delivered promptly to fill orders and communicate updates to the appropriate individuals.
• Support planning/scheduling coordination through strong storeroom practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a storeroom environment or similar.
• Parts Technician Ticket
• Proficient in navigation and optimization of asset management systems.
• Experience with MS tools and asset management software, such as SAP.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is considered an asset.

Physical demands and working conditions:

• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
• Completing Safety and Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that are required for your area.
