The Role

As VPHR , you will lead our global HR function, providing strategic direction, championing change, and optimizing our people strategies in a fast-evolving business landscape. This role is pivotal in managing organizational growth, talent optimization, digital transformation, and cultural enhancement while ensuring our HR operations remain innovative, scalable, and impactful.

What does your typical day look like?

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and drive the organization’s long-term vision, culture, and HR strategy.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global HR roadmap aligned with corporate goals.
  • Establish HR service standards, frameworks, and best practices in line with global trends.
  • Partner with senior leaders to optimize organizational structure and workforce planning.
  • Act as a change agent, ensuring smooth transformation through effective communication and leadership alignment.

Strategic Initiatives & Transformation

  • Lead global talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management to secure top-tier talent.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs to elevate managerial capabilities and drive cultural alignment.
  • Oversee the global deployment of HRIS (Workday) to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making.
  • Introduce business performance indicators to create clear accountability across teams.
  • Strengthen performance management frameworks, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Enhance employee engagement and retention strategies across a diverse, hybrid, and global workforce.
  • Drive post-acquisition HR integrations, ensuring seamless cultural and operational transitions.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to reinforce a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

HR Operations & Organizational Efficiency

  • Oversee global HR operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with employment laws.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to HR teams worldwide.
  • Utilize HR analytics and workforce metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Establish competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive structures aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and inspire a high-performing global HR team, fostering innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Create an empowered and continuous learning environment that supports professional growth.
  • Maintain a transparent and engaging communication strategy to keep employees connected to the company’s mission.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a proven track record in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Professional HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CIPD) are a plus.
  • Extensive experience in HR transformation, workforce planning, and change management within a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong background in HR technology implementation (e.g., Workday), process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven success in leading post-merger integrations, executive compensation strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Expertise in managing complex global HR operations, employment law compliance, and multi-region workforce challenges.
  • A strategic, business-focused mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate at the executive level.
  • Strong leadership in building high performing, engaged, and diverse teams across global locations.
  • A data-driven approach to HR innovation, talent acquisition, and employee development.
  • Agile, adaptable, and capable of leading HR initiatives in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Bilingual proficiency (French & English) to drive effective communication across international teams.
