Responsibilities

1. Handling a high volume of customer inbound
2. Answer questions, provide education, and solve HR and financial issues related to the customer's health care benefits, and retirement plans, leaves of absence, payroll, etc
3. Processing transactions such as health enrollments, tax and direct deposit updates, etc
4. Leveraging your computer navigation skills to navigate a robust set of tools/systems
5. Creating and updating files in the database and communicating with third parties to research and assist the customer with updates or inquiries.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in customer service
2. Excellent English and French communication skills
3. Good computer and system navigation skills
4. Ability to be flexible, adaptable and dependable in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
5. Must be able to pass a criminal background check
6. Prefer to have worked either HR, Financial, or Health Care Industry

Summary

Our Client operates across Canada. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:

1. communicate with English-speaking customers located outside Quebec on a daily basis.
2. communicate with English-speaking clients/partners/employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
3. cover a territory that spans beyond Quebec and which requires communication with customers and clients who do not speak French
4. report to, and communicate regularly with, their manager and Canadian/Global management team, who are located outside of Quebec and do not speak French
5. collaborate and provide support to other colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French
6. attend essential training, meetings or conferences held outside Quebec, which are presented in English
7. participate in company-wide Canadian/Global town hall meetings and management information sessions, which are presented in English
8. interact with centralized internal departments (e.g.: Operations/HR/Finance/Legal/Contracts/Sales) who support the organization across Canada/North America/Globally, and who do not speak French
9. work in accordance with international technical standards and specifications, which are published in English
10. work on client projects, products or deliverables that are required to be delivered to clients in English
