Freelance Real Estate Photographer

BCFP is looking for excellent real estate photographers and videographers to join our photography department.

Duties include:

1. Creation of on-site still photography (standard, HDR, Flambient), 360 degree panorama images, video, and drone if it's within your skill set.
2. Must be results driven and self-directed.
3. Must be punctual, hard-working, have a keen eye for detail, and possess excellent communication skills.

Position Details:

Position is freelance and generally Monday to Friday 9-5, but can sometimes require weekend and evening work (such as twilight photography). Additional pay is included for these shoots. Schedule and work area is set 100% by the freelancer!

Requirements:

• A reliable vehicle with a valid BC driver's license.
• Own DSLR equipment with ultra wide angle lens, tripod, and pano gear.
• Expert knowledge in DSLR operation and photo editing.
• Knowledge of bracketing for HDR (equipment should be capable of at least 5 brackets).
• Ability to edit your own photography and video extremely well.
• Monday to Friday availability and/or Saturday and Sunday.
• An eye for detail (knowledge of what makes a home look great in a photo).
• Punctuality is extremely important.
• Great communication/customer service skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines at times.
• A professional image is important.
• Experience with 360 tours is an asset.
• Able to provide freelance contract services and provide proper invoices.

Job Description:

Position will be on a freelance/contract basis which will require submission of regular invoices (twice a month). Assignments will be anywhere in the lower mainland, but we are especially looking for someone available in the Langley/Surrey area. Generally, there will be 2+ shoots a day depending on the market, your availability, and willingness to travel. Work area and availability can be customized to your preference. Compensation will be a fixed amount per shoot, based on the number of photos ordered or size of home for video. Photographer duties include meeting with the client or homeowner at the property (to ask if there are any specific requests), taking beautiful photos as required, and then uploading the edited photos to Google Drive. BCFP will take care of the rest. Although our ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, some training will also be provided.
