Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a forklift operator for its AIM Recyclage Québec site. Under the supervision of the team leader, the position holder will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises. He must also provide excellent customer service, including unloading different types of trailers from customers. He must work safely by wearing personal protective equipment and respecting safety instructions.

• Operate the forklift;
• Sort different types of metals;
• Classify and establish the type of material;
• Weigh the material;
• Carry out general maintenance of the premises;
• Maintain property and equipment in good condition;
• Clean your workspace at the end of the shift;
• Prepare shipments and receipt of materials;
• Wear personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift (a must);
• Experience in metal recycling (an asset);
• Knowledge of metals (an asset).

Additional Information

• Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 4:30;

Possibility to do from 8 to 4:30

• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours;
