Responsibilities

The Role

• Pack pallets according to customer specifications
• Place material in the warehouse using an RF scanner
• Load and unload trucks
• Prepare LTL or FTL orders using RF scanner
• Place material that has been received and tagged
• Substitute during the vacation of the forklift operator responsible for feeding the extrusion department (night and day shifts)
• Ensure warehouse objectives are met
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the warehouse
• Respect the health and safety rules

Working conditions are:

• Rotating day and night schedule
• 8-hours and 12-hours shift
• Salary between $17.75 and $21.00 / hr (depending on experience), with night premium, performance premium and overtime paid
• Opportunities for advancement and training

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• High school diploma
• 1-2 years of work experience (warehouse experience is an asset)
• Valid forklift operator certificate
• Experience with RF scanner (an asset)
• Knowledge of French and English (an asset)
• Knowledge of shipping documentation
• Team player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
