Job description

Job Duties:

  1. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food to guests.
  2. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  3. Establish work schedules and ensure staff follow procedures.
  4. Maintain records of stock, sales and wastage and report to management.
  5. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures and ensure skill transfer to new employees.
  6. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and corporate brand standards.
  7. Deal with cash, opening and closing procedures with accuracy.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues as required.
  9. Maintain a positive relationship between team members.

Requirements:

  1. 3 years experience in restaurants or 1 year supervisory experience.
  2. Have a passion for guest service and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  3. Willing to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and night shifts.
  4. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Have excellent communication skills.
  6. Enjoy learning new things.
  7. Have a ready smile and a warm personality.
  8. Available to work a minimum of 32 hours/week.
