JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Food Service Sales Representative specializing in meat products will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by leveraging their extensive experience in the food industry. This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in selling seafood and meat products to a diverse range of food service establishments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the meat industry. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other food service establishments. Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food service sector. Prospect and acquire new clients by showcasing the quality and benefits of the company’s product offerings.
  • Product Knowledge and Training: Possess in-depth knowledge of Legends Haul’s products. Conduct product training sessions for clients and internal teams to enhance understanding and sales effectiveness.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the unique selling points of the company’s products. Negotiate terms and pricing agreements to secure profitable and long-term partnerships.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Generate accurate and timely sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline analysis, and performance metrics. Collaborate with the sales manager to evaluate results and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination in meeting customer demands. Provide valuable input for product development based on market feedback and client requirements.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of 4 plus years of successful sales experience in the food industry, with a focus on seafood and/or meat products.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the food service sector.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations, certifications, and industry best practices.
  • Sales leadership or sales associate certification is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERPs.
