The Role:
As the Food Rescue Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our food recovery initiatives by managing the administrative functions that underpin our operations. You will ensure that data is accurately tracked, donor relationships are nurtured, and our food recovery goals are met with precision.
Your Impact:
- Track and reconcile program and food data across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Flowfinity, and Raiser’s Edge.
- Maintain up-to-date food donor contact records and support outreach initiatives, including contact list generation for campaigns.
- Monitor shared food donor inboxes, triaging issues and opportunities to the appropriate team members.
- Manage the gift-in-kind receipting process for food donations, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Analyze data and trends to enhance food recovery effectiveness, helping the team surpass annual foodraising targets.
- Create purchase orders and ensure invoices are tracked to the correct budget codes in collaboration with the Finance & Business Intelligence teams.
- Support travel plans and conference administration for the Food Rescue Operations team.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Philanthropy and Finance, to align food recovery operations with organizational goals.
Who You Are:
- Meticulous Data Manager: Your keen attention to detail and proficiency with data entry and reconciliation ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), and have a strong interest in mastering CRM systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Raiser’s Edge, as well as GIS mapping software (ESRI, QGIS, etc.).
- Client-Focused Communicator: You excel in building and maintaining relationships, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service to our food donors.
- Adaptable & Independent: You’re a self-starter who thrives on managing multiple tasks and priorities independently while keeping the team informed.
- Collaborative Problem-Solver: You bring a solutions-focused mindset to your work, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and departments.
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, and we encourage candidates with proficiency in both official languages to apply.
