Food Production Worker

Job Title: Production Worker
Location: Amherst, Nova Scotia
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Starts at 7:00AM (can include overnights)
Rate of Pay: $18.10 per hour (shift differential)

Our client is looking for reliable and dedicated workers to join their growing production team!

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure machine deck is clean of previous product (seeds, foreign material)
2. Ensure bag lot numbers are recorded on wrapper sheet
3. Ensure recode log is used to allow traceability
4. Ensure no foreign material or contamination in the tray
5. Run checks on metal detector to ensure it is working properly
6. Ensure product is not being crushed
7. Look for contamination in the product. If found, report to supervisor immediately.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Strong mathematical skills
2. Previous production experience would be an asset
3. Lifting up to 50lbs
4. This role requires the submission of a Criminal Background Check
5. Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
6. Reliable and dependable
