Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Vidant Chowan Hospital located in Edenton, NC. Vidant Chowan Hospital is a licensed 50 bed modern facility located in Edenton, one of North Carolina’s most historic and charming towns. A short drive away from North Carolina's highly desired Outer Banks!

What You'll Do

The Food Operations Manager 2 will be responsible for operations of 2 locations in addition to on-site patient services, retail café, and catering. This position will support 18 frontline associates.

What You Bring

  • Has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • Has production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
  • Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • Can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;
  • Can demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
