First Nations Community Claims Administrators
Indigenous - Remote - Full Time

The Claims Administrators will be working closely with Indigenous people across Canada, particularly with First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle class action.

General Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to individuals with diplomacy throughout the claim form process.
2. Develop and foster relationships with claimants.
3. Assist claimants in completing claim forms and connecting them with support resources.
4. Assist claimants in checking claim status and navigating the appeals process.
5. Educate individuals on the claims process and settlement benchmarks.
6. Participate in training sessions to ensure effective claims support.
7. Ability to pivot and adapt to changes as required.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of three years relevant experience.
2. Social Work Diploma.
3. Ability to establish trust and communication with individuals dealing with (intergenerational) trauma.
4. Proficient in technology and online platforms.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Willingness to travel across Canada.
7. Provide virtual support to claimants by phone, internet or in person.
