Qualifications
To be considered for a position with Alltron Systems, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- CFAA registered
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Flexibility to travel throughout the Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in fire alarm system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Strong electrical knowledge and ability to work with power tools
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA regulations
- Certification in fire alarm technology or equivalent experience is preferred
- Programming experience with fire alarm panels is an asset
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and possess a strong work ethic
Duties
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Install, program, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and in compliance with standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire alarm equipment, including detectors, control panels, annunciators, and communication devices.
- Document all work performed, including inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs, accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers and other team members as needed.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and changes in regulations related to fire alarm systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of installations and projects.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $25.00-$55.00 per hour
