Our client is a well-regarded Design-Build firm specializing in high-rise residential refurbishment projects in the GTA. They're looking for a Finishing Site Superintendent with experience in tenant leasehold improvements, interior works, and renovations.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Site Superintendent to oversee the finishing works of high-rise residential refurbishment projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising all finishing activities to ensure high quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth execution.
• Overseeing all aspects of project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure efficient project execution.
• Implementing quality control, conducting inspections, and addressing defects or issues promptly.
• Ensuring strict health and safety compliance on-site.
• Managing subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to the required standard.
• Communicating effectively with property managers and condominium boards to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitoring progress, managing budgets, and providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
• Overseeing final inspections and the handover of completed works.

The Successful Applicant

• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in tenant leasehold improvements, interior renovations, and repairs of condominium or mixed-use buildings.
• Proven expertise in managing refurbishment projects for lobbies, common areas, and other shared spaces.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations to ensure compliance and quality.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering finishing works that meet or exceed design specifications and quality standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
