What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with assigned First Nation clients
  2. Provide remote accounting support to clients
  3. Deliver ongoing training sessions for client staff
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client service delivery

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Proven experience in accounting or finance
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  4. Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards
  5. Experience in client relationship management

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations
  2. Knowledge of accounting software and tools
  3. Previous training or teaching experience in a financial context
  4. Bilingualism in English and French
