Financial Reporting Manager

Salary: CAD 120,000 - 130,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee key accounting functions, lead audits, and collaborate with stakeholders, all while working in a supportive and growth-oriented culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who is looking for a new challenge!

Impact Recruitment has partnered with a top tier real estate development firm that has ownership on some of the most exciting real estate developments in Burnaby, Richmond, and Vancouver. They pride themselves on their collaborative and rewarding work culture and are currently looking to add a Financial Reporting Manager to their team!

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

1. Oversee quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and working papers.
2. Review monthly financial processes including reconciliations, consolidation/elimination entries, payables, and distributions.
3. Research and prepare accounting memos for complex issues.
4. Lead year-end audits and reporting, serving as the main contact for auditors and partners.
5. Coordinate corporate transactions, compliance, and entity management with stakeholders and legal counsel.
6. Review corporate tax returns and work in collaboration with external tax accountants.
7. Supervise and mentor senior accountants.
8. Ad hoc duties as needed.

• Designated CPA
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Real estate experience is an asset.
• Public practice experience is an asset.

• Salary: $120,000 to $130,000
• 3 weeks’ vacation
