Role Overview:
As the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and supporting the company's strategic goals. Reporting to the VP ofFinance, you will lead a dynamic team while managing the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:
   • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
   • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and successful audits.
2. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and high performance.
   • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. Budgeting and FP&A:
   • Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
   • Provide detailed financial analysis and forecasts to support decision-making.
4. ERP Management:
   • Leverage Oracle ERP (or other relevant systems) to optimize financial operations.
   • Identify opportunities to enhance system efficiency and reporting capabilities.
5. Strategic Financial Support:
   • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies.
   • Provide insights and recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• CPA Designation is mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS reporting.
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role with team management responsibilities.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is preferred; familiarity with other ERP systems is also valued.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
