Financial Controller

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a Hybrid Web Application Developer.

Major Responsibilities

1. Development of technical solutions, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of code.
2. Analyze and interpret business requirements to create efficient and effective technical solutions.
3. Analyze and develop new code.
4. Verify code with integration and unit tests.
5. Identify logic errors, implement bug fixes, and support user testing.
6. Build and execute automation tests.
7. Provide third-level application support.
8. Consult with business areas, technical support, team members, technical sources, and end-users.
9. Ensure high quality of development and solution prior to product release.
10. Assist with product releases.
11. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
12. Contribute to manual quality assurance testing as needed.
13. Produce working code with less supervision on relatively routine development tasks.
14. Demonstrate good instincts in solving technical problems.
15. Stay passionate about learning new technologies and adopting best practices of software development.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the field with exposure to the following for some or all that time:

Building web applications using the noted technologies:

1. Building applications that integrate with AWS services
2. Unit testing in Angular and Java
3. Monitoring error logs and addressing repeatable bugs

• HTML5
• CSS / SCSS
• TypeScript
• Angular 12+
• Java
• Spring Boot and Hibernate

Nice to have:

• Experience with Financial accounting will be an asset.
• Experience with new versions of Angular (Version 12+).
• Experience with authentication and authorization (Web, API).
• Experience with version control using GIT.
• Experience writing web services and APIs.
• Experience using AWS services (SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, S3).
