Job Overview
We are looking for an Automotive Controller/Accounting Manager to manage the dealership's accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial and management background, particularly in automotive bookkeeping, and experience with PBS dealership systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities and manage financial reporting processes.
• Streamline and integrate accounting systems and procedures.
• Provide business operations consultation and identify improvement areas.
• Prepare monthly dealership statements, account reconciliations, and month-end tasks.
• Generate quarterly consolidated statements and compliance documents for Scotiabank.
• Supervise accounting staff and manage deal processing, accounts receivable/payable.
• Handle payroll processing and manage benefits.
• Prepare tax filings (HST/PST/WSIB/Corporate Tax remittances).
• Reconcile bank accounts and manage floor plan payouts.
• Administer HR processes for new hires and terminations.
• Oversee administration staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchener Nissan.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of automotive bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with PBS dealership systems preferable and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating staff.
• Strong discretion and confidentiality.
• Diploma in accounting or related field required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
