Financial Controller

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's growth. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a finance team effectively.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R including collections, A/P, inventory and preparation of timely monthly and annual financial statements.
3. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in collaboration with the President.
4. Oversee the payroll and compliance with labour regulatory requirements.
5. Assist the President to develop and implement strategies to grow the company on the top and bottom line.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

1. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (10+ years’ experience in accounting and finance and an accounting designation, CA, CPA, CGA -are required)
2. Experience in account analysis, account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes
3. Expertise in budgeting and financial forecasting
4. Proficiency in payroll management and related tax regulations
5. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
6. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams
7. Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly
8. Motivated to get the job done but flexible to respond to changing needs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $82,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
