Position Details:
The University of Lethbridge, Financial Services department is currently accepting applications for a Financial Analyst, Restricted Funds position. Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst’s function is to act as a financial consultant to various University departments as well as complete activities within Financial Services that support the institution and our department’s strategic priorities. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining financial reporting requirements, completing IRS filings, budget preparation, process advice, training, risk identification and mitigation, financial analysis, and proactive support primarily to the units that administer and report on the use of restricted funds. The position will also support ad hoc projects as required in Financial Services supporting the Financial Reporting integrity of the University.
Within our department, this challenging role will be responsible for complex accounting and analytical functions, account reconciliations, year-end working papers, processing or approving accounting transactions, and various projects as they arise. The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE): $63,255.50 - $79,575.80 annually
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE): $63,255.50 - $95,896.11 annually (APO - Grade 3)
