Financial Analyst Junior

Arobas personnel is looking for a Financial Analyst Junior for a contract with one of our clients located in Toronto.

*Remote : Hybrid- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday in-office days, Thursday & Friday work from home *

What will your day-to-day look like?
As a Junior Financial Analyst, you will support key financial operations and contribute to the success of Direct-to-Consumer initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in project meetings, tracking timelines, and collaborating with IT to develop and update financial reports
• Conducting data testing and analysis to support product launches
• Contributing to automation initiatives and continuous process improvements
• Preparing revenue journal entries and assisting with month-end close activities
• Performing account reconciliations and financial analysis on a timely basis
• Processing subscriber revenue remittances and managing subscriber cash flows
• Handling ad hoc financial tasks and supporting the finance team as needed

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated, analytical thinker with a strong background in finance who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has:

• 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance environment
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills (including advanced Excel)
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, and familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, MicroStrategy, and Alteryx
• A proven track record in process automation and improving finance workflows
• The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
