MAJOR DUTIES:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting activities related to the financial reporting & management accounting processes for a division within ATS. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the monthly financial reports, proactively providing high quality financial analysis and maintaining adequate process controls over the financial ledgers. As a core member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will provide support to the leadership team for driving sustainable progress in our strategic initiatives.

EDUCATION
A university degree or college diploma in business and/or accounting or equivalent business experience is required. Must have or be working towards a professional accounting designation (CPA).
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting analytical experience is preferred. The individual must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with people at all levels of the organization both verbally and in written form. Advanced knowledge of an ERP system (preferably JD Edwards) and advanced knowledge of Excel is required. In addition, the ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance in a team-oriented work environment is mandatory. Strong analytical, financial reporting and accounting skills as well a continuous improvement mindset are keys. Finally, the person must be hands-on, detail oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
