Position Overview

Join our Canada Finance Team in this exciting manager role. Supply Chain Finance plays a pivotal role in enabling significant growth and competitiveness in the marketplace. Our team is focused on continuing to optimize our Supply Chain in both the short and long-term to enable best-in-class performance & fuel our business model.

This role is expected to deliver exceptional short and long-term business results by partnering closely across all facets of the business: Supply Chain Leaders within Canada and the US, Business Unit Leaders, and the entire cross-functional business team. Experience in this role will strengthen skills in the following key areas: planning acumen, strategic business model leadership, situational agility, broadening/international and operational excellence.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Partner functionally with Canada Supply Chain leadership, and cross-functional team to deliver short and long-term business results.
  • Collaborate across General Mills Canada Finance to help shape and drive continuous improvement in our collective ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and strong partnerships with the broader US and Canada-based Finance teams to work effectively across our matrix to deliver results.
  • Develop solid financial plans to achieve targets.
  • Deliver forecast accuracy through deep involvement with Supply Chain pillars.
  • Analyze key initiatives and projects, including innovation, renovation, capital investment, Holistic Margin Management, waste, and network optimization.
  • Bring experience, analytics, insight, and candor to influence and shape short- and long-term strategies and performance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholder teams to optimize business results.

Given that collaboration is critical to the success of our team members, our teams, and our business, the expectation for this role will be to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays each week. Our policy allows flexibility for the reality of business and personal schedules. Monday and Friday are flexible regarding your work location.

Qualifications:

Professional Requirements and Experience:

  • A university degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, preferably in CPG.
  • Prior experience partnering with Supply Chain Teams.
  • Agile, organized, and able to manage and prioritize changing workload for self & teams.
  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships at all levels and across all functions; ability to effectively communicate and influence all levels across the organization.
  • Strong track record of operating with gold-standard finance partnerships with an ability to influence leaders on the direction of the business.
  • The ability to synthesize complex matters into simple and attainable solutions.
