ABOUT THE CLIENT

Impact Recruitment has partnered with an established NPO in Vancouver known for its collegial atmosphere, work-life balance, and an excellent benefits package! They are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with 5+ years of accounting and system implementation experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Managing implementation of accounting and reporting system upgrades.
• Planning and implementing new systems, reviewing changes to internal system integrations.
• Liaising with IT and external consultants for system issues.
• Overseeing the AP/AR specialists and monitoring the financial reporting module.
• Performing backup duties for the Senior Accountant and Director of Finance.
• Coordinating bi-annual accounting system updates and related User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Working on annual budget processes, financial analysis, and assisting with audits.
• Developing and refining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Handling ad hoc tasks, projects, and analysis as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Designated CPA.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience leading accounting system implementations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $110,000 to $115,000.
• Extended health and dental.
• RRSP matching.
